Zululand-14 Church Tour in 56 hours

We recently set out from Durban at 6am on a Monday morning on our way to Obambo, the most northern region of KwaZulu-Natal. Our plan was to visit the young Baptist churches in this region. Hluhluwe Baptist Church was first on the list. At each church we met for a short time of fellowship with pastors and members who were able to attend. Our team included Rev Greg Matthai (NTL of the BUSA), Rev Colin Diesel (Administrator of the BUSA), Vernon Schmidt (Missions Developer Mac Min) and myself. The rest of the day was spent at Jozini B C, Ishugela B C, Emangusi B C, and Nxabakasi B C, where the congregation met for a worship service. About 65 gathered. It was a most blessed time of fellowship in The Word.

Continuing our tour, Tuesday took us to Ndlonduleze B C, Manzi Ngwenya B C, Enseleni B C, Manzi bomvu B C and Mbuswana B C where we joined with local Baptists for fellowship and edification in The Word. To end the day, we all enjoyed a typical Zulu dinner of roasted chicken and vegetables.

On Wednesday, en route for home, we visited Olengeni B C, Nobokazi B C, Ndukwe B C and recently planted Mgwenya B C, where the building of the new church is about to begin. We returned blessed and rejoicing at ALL that God is doing across this region, to extend His Kingdom on Earth. Please pray for all of these churches and if you are able, please consider helping with the funding of the new building at Ndukwe.
