Water System in Manzibomvu
February 2021 Updates
2021 has come with little respite for foreign nationals. They continually have to acknowledge that xenophobia is real and could flair up at any moment. In addition any level of lockdown, adversely affects them significantly more than others. For these reasons and others Mac Min is committed to the French speaking refugees living in down town PMB.
The first delivery of maize meal to this congregation took place this week.
Thank you, once again for your generous funding of this essential ministry.
MANZIBOMVU WATER SYSTEM
Phase One
This region has been in the grip of an eight year drought. After a year of planning it was most satisfying to travel to Manzibomvu to witness the commencement of this project.
Phase one included, selection of site for the borehole, set up of drilling rig and equipment, drilling to depth of 34 meters, installation of casings, submersible pump and electrics, test of water volume and quality and all being good, the capping of the borehole. Without any glitchers phase one was completed in a day and a half, with the well producing a strong flow of very clean water.
Special thanks to all those who have contributed towards this project. P. G.
MANZIBOMVU WATER SYSTEM
Phase Two
Installation of temporary 2500 litre water storage tank and its connection to borehole outlet. Over three months, water quality and reliability will be assessed before connecting it to the kitchen and ablution block.
While in the region, Trent was privileged to lead the local pastors fraternal and church ministry leaders in a workshop on the Inspiration of Scripture. Covering the inerrancy, infallibility , sufficiency and authority of GOD'S WORD.
