A few days ago, 200 invited guests gathered at Makong Baptist Church to celebrate with six successful pastors from the Eastern Freestate who had completed the requirements for a certificate in Pastoral Ministry.

Rev. Mark Wilby has lectured to this group through the Pulse course of studies offered by the Cape Town Baptist Seminary.

Rev. S Monogeng in his address said, “The regional Baptist Ministry would never be the same again as a result of this significant achievement.”

Each pastor received a copy of Grudem’s Systematic Theology and a shirt and a tie from Howick Community Church.

In appreciation for faithful support and sacrificial cooperation, their wives received gifts of cosmetics and a blanket.

A super dinner of beef, chicken, and vegetables, prepared by the ladies, was a fitting climax to this wonderful day of celebrating God’s goodness and grace.
