Crucifixion Friday at the Fountain of Life Church

Macedonian Ministries is privileged to partner with this church situated in the heart of the Inner City of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Planted approximately eight years ago, the congregation has now reached maturity and is making a significant impact as its presence is felt both locally and further afield.

On Good Friday, Mally and I were invited to lead the first worship service of their Easter Conference. Assigned, the privilege of preaching through the Seven Sayings of Christ from the Cross, and then leading the Holy Communion service. It was a glorious occasion.

A large congregation had gathered and Worship was rich in Biblical content, with songs focusing on our Savior's crucifixion. One sensed the presence of the Lord. Praise God. Our hearts were warmed as we observed a congregation schooled in the Scriptures and it showed in their appetite for the Truth of God's Preached Word.

Please pray for this church as it continues to stand as a beacon of hope in the midst of all the inner city challenges.
