SMIRNA BAPTIST CHIRCH

In spite of frustrations caused by COVID 19 restrictions, this congregation has soldiered on in the Gospel.....and God has honored their faithfulness.

They have seen churches planted, families come to Salvation and last week had the joy of Baptising a recent convert.

Pandemic restrictions prevented them from using the church facilities, so they conducted the service at the Msunduzi River.

Please continue to pray for this congregation which is comprised of French speaking foreign nationals.

HAMMARSDALE BAPTIST CHURCH

Hammersdale Baptist Church has traveled a difficult road for some time. However, this congregation has commenced a new chapter in its life.

Pastor Lawrence Kumalo recently accepted their call for him to be their full time pastor and has been inducted to this ministry.

It was my joy and privilege to preach at their Sunday service a week ago. Attending was Tobile Miya with seven children, five of whom are COVID 19 ORPHANS.....this caught my attention, initiating a reality check in terms of where we really are with this pandemic. To my shame, I had not thought of the COVID 19 orphans it is spawning. It also brought refreshing hope to see those with very little opening their hearts and homes to care for those who have NOTHING.

PRAISE GOD for the Tobiles of this world........AND may God give us more.

THEN it dawned on me why the Holy Spirit had nudged me to take 16 bags of maize meal to Hammarsdale as a gift for these dear people.

SPECIAL thanks to all those donors who consistently fund compassionate ministries.
